North Kigezi Diocesan 2022 Theme Exposition Workshop

On Friday, 21st of January 2022, North Kigezi Diocese held a workshop for the exposition of the Diocesan Theme for 2022 at All Saints Church Rukungiri. The workshop was organized by the Missions and Evangelism department headed by the Diocesan Missions Coordinator; Rev. Edson Ampeire and was opened and blessed by the Caretaker Bishop, Rt. Rev. Bishop Patrick Tugume Tusingwire. It was attended by the North Kigezi Diocese clergy, and the parish Mission Coordinators. During the workshop, the Diocesan Theme for 2022 was unveiled as Mathew 9:37 and was extensively explained by the guest preachers from the Province of the Church of Uganda that included; Rev. Canon Capt. Titus Baraka ( Aka…Uncle Tai) and Rev. Alex Abraham Bwambale who is the provincial Pastors Equipping Network (PEN) Champion.

In addition to unveiling the Diocesan new year’s Theme Rev. Canon Capt. Titus Baraka and Rev. Alex Abraham Bwambale also introduced the “Provincial Strategic Discipleship Movement” and “Pastors’ Equipping Network Programme”; a program by the Province of the Church of Uganda that has been designed to empower the clergy in the ministry of shepherding the flock of God. Each attending clergy received a package of materials for this program.
