North Kigezi Diocese, we have chosen the path of proclaiming the gospel in accordance with Christ’s commission to make disciples’ of all nations Matthew 28:19… and also in accordance with the Provincial vision, …” a Faster growing Sustainable Christ centred Church…” Our discipleship movement which is intentional, relational, Missional, and transformational in nature seeks to impact personal lives, family life and Local church life in a daily commitment to Jesus.

In order to strengthen the local church discipleship, Christians need to be equipped with tools and skills for disciplined Daily Devotions (3Ds) in their bible study classes or  Home cell fellowships through the use of 4Hs;

During the commissioning of a team of 5 People, the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Benon Magezi gave more highlights on the gospel mandate of looking for those who are helpless, harassed, and hurting. He said, “Jesus, models the way in which we should respond to the needs of people around us. He was moved with compassion (Matthew 9:35-38) and actively responded to their needs. Jesus reminds us of three things in which should be our gospel mandate; the church should have a Heart for the harvest, Hope for the harvest, and Help in the harvest.” The Bishop in his concluding remarks pledged his total support and declared the next year of 2021 a year of Discipleship in the whole Diocese.
