Commissioning of the Mission Direct Project structures in Rushararazi Primary School and Rushararazi Church of Uganda in Bwambara Archdeaconry.

The Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese The Rt. Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe commissioned structures that were constructed by Mission Direct UK at Rushararazi Primary School and Rushararazi Church of Uganda in Bwambara Archdeaconry.

The structures include a 3-classroom block, staff quarters with a kitchen and store, modern pit latrines, and two water tanks.

This comes as part of the partnership between North Kigezi Diocese and Mission Direct to support poor communities in hard to reach areas in attaining basic needs like access to clean water, school structures, sustainable school feeding programme, etc.

The Mission Direct Country manager Simon Morgan attributed the success of the project to God and the great partnership between North Kigezi Diocese and Mission Direct, which has provided them a conducive environment for the mission work to be done.

Bishop Onesimus Asiimwe appreciated Mission Direct for their generosity towards the poor and needy, not because they are very wealthy but because they have big hearts and compassion. He prayed that their labour was not in vain and that God would bless them!

The Bishop also cautioned the community and school leaders to take good care of the structures and all the support that they received and put them to good use for their benefit.

To God be the Glory!
