North Kigezi Diocese News
On Sunday, 4 January 2026, the NextGen Uganda Bible Study Conference officially commenced at Kinyasano Girls’ High School in the North Kigezi Diocese, ushering in a week dedicated to spiritual growth, learning, and Christian fellowship. The conference has drawn 290 delegates from various parishes within and beyond the diocese, all eager to deepen their understanding of Scripture and strengthen their faith.
Scheduled to run until Friday, 9 January 2026, the conference features structured Bible study sessions, guided teachings, group discussions, and mentorship programs. These activities are carefully designed to equip young people with strong biblical foundations, leadership skills, and practical tools for Christian service in their communities.
A major highlight of the conference is the graduation of delegates attending for the fourth consecutive time. These committed participants will be awarded certificates of completion in recognition of their dedication to the NextGen Uganda program. Upon graduation, they will return to their respective parishes to teach, mentor, and disciple fellow youth, thereby extending the impact of the conference at the grassroots level.
The NextGen Uganda Bible Study Conference continues to serve as an important platform for nurturing spiritually grounded and service-oriented young leaders. Through initiatives such as this, the North Kigezi Diocese reaffirms its commitment to empowering the next generation to live out biblical values and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the Church and society.
