North Kigezi Diocese Hosts Western Uganda Bishops and Wives Fellowshop 2024
Today North Kigezi Diocese has been blessed to welcome and host a team of Bishops and their Wives for the 2024 fellowship which is a four days retreat that will be climaxed on Sunday 17th November,2024
The Bishops in this fellowship include those from greater Kigezi, greater Ankole, Ruwenzori and greater Bunyoro-Kitara dioceses. The Bishops and maamas include both in active service and those who have retired. A total of twenty eight Bishops and maamas have so far arrived and the others are expected to join the team already on the ground tomorrow
The Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese Rt. Rev. Onesimus and Maama Florence Asiimwe together with the Bishop’s office staff and archdeacons welcomed the guests at Bishop’s residence with classic dinner
Bishop Amos Magezi who is the chairperson of the fellowship said that the main purpose is of the fellowship is to come, sit, share, hear and sharpen one another. He also put it that this fellowship is also meant to bring together those who have retired
